Favorite part of working with animals? My absolute favorite part of working with animals is the connections I am able to create with each pet. I love being able to take my time and get to know the animals and create really special bonds that last forever. 

Where did you grow up? I was born and raised in Arizona! 

Year you started working in the veterinary field: I started working in the veterinary field officially in 2017! I was in FFA in high school and was able to raise a chicken named Big Blue and a Pygmy goat named Adeline. It was such a fun experience! …except for the corduroy jacket and skirt in 110° weather while you’re trying to round up a hog. 

Best way to spend a Saturday: The best Saturday in my book would be a nice morning walk with Susan, Chula (my dogs) and Esteban (my cat) then getting some breakfast with friends or family. After, find some good thrift/antique stores and end the day with some darts, a yummy drink and some good food!
