Client Service Representative (part time and full-time) |
General Description of Position:

The Client Service Representative (CSR) team member has the responsibility of upholding client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service to all potential and current Hillside Animal Hospital clients. The CSR must demonstrate the ability to interact with clients and their pets in a welcoming, professional manner both in the hospital and over the telephone. The CSR insures comfortable flow of client activity by continually communicating and coordinating with the technicians and veterinarians. CSR's must be able to articulate basic veterinary information to clients with confidence, including the ability to inspire new clients to join the practice by enthusiastically relating the benefits of our services for the health and well-beings of their pets. In addition, the CSR must be able to think on his/her feet to handle stressful situations with a high level of composure and to take appropriate action according to the situation. Multi-tasking is central to this position, so the CSR must be able to handle multiple projects with ease and must demonstrate proficiency in prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of organization. The CSR is a key team member as he/she is often the first point of contact to potential and existing clients and therefore must project a polished, professional, and compassionate image.
The ideal candidate will also have an affinity for social media outlets. This CSR will be involved in using these outlets to enhance our relationships with current and potential clients and to help grow our client base. Opportunies for advancement into management will also be available and based on exceptional performance.
