Veterinary Technician

Which superhuman power would you choose?
Superhuman mentality! Knowledge is power and I’d love to have an understanding of all things, which would have it’s pros and cons. So second choice would be teleportation. Being able to skip my daily work commute; that’s happiness! With the added bonus of being able to see any part of the world whenever I please.

What was your first pet?
Believe it or not, my first pet was actually a goat named Taz. He was definitely not the sweetest goat on the block and my shins were always bruised because of him, but I still loved him. He apparently didn’t love me as much because he ran away.

Favorite part of working with animals?
Experiencing the personalities and intellect of our pets. They truly all have their own little quirks, and are super bright creatures.

Year you started working in the veterinary field:
I started in the field in early 2009. I’ve worked in both full practice and shelter medicine.

Where did you grow up?
I am an Arizona native; still can’t handle the heat.

Best way to spend a Saturday:
Outdoors exploring or doing anything artistic/ creative.
